Hey there! I’m Jacque, a mom of four, storyteller-in-training, and the creator of Folk & Fable ®. It all started when I was chatting with a friend about our husbands’ amazing abilities to create elaborate bedtime stories on the spot. Meanwhile, we found ourselves struggling to come up with even the simplest storylines.

As we marveled at their storytelling skills, I couldn't help but feel frustrated. I wanted to bring that magic to my kids but didn’t know where to start. When her son’s birthday rolled around, I had the perfect gift idea: a storytelling kit! Something that would help when her imagination just wasn’t flowing. I searched everywhere, but couldn’t find what I was looking for. So, I decided to create it.

And that’s how the Storybag™ was born! A simple idea that blossomed into a tool to help parents, grandparents, and anyone looking for inspiration to kickstart storytelling. Whether you’re in need of a quick bedtime tale or want to inspire a world of imagination, the Storybag™ is here to help you bring stories to life.

When I’m not brainstorming new ways to unleash my creativity or chasing after my kids, you can probably find me sipping coffee, dreaming up new ideas, and figuring out how to make bedtime just a little bit easier.
